Format Text with OneNote on Microsoft Lumia 535

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to format text when using the OneNote application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.

Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Swipe the lock screen up to enter the Home screen

    We need to enter the OneNote application

    I have the OneNote tile on my Home screen.

    If the tile is not on your Home Screen, you will need to swipe from right to left to enter the App menu and find OneNote there

    As you can see, we have different options

    We have an option to highlight things. We can put some things in bold, italics, underlined, or even just cross through it.

    If we want to type the title in bold, tap on the B

    Now we can enter the title, and the text will be bolded.

    To go back into formatting, press the ellipsis again, and then go to format again

    You can do this to highlight entire passages, or you can use any other of the formatting tools just by highlighting a section, going into format, and pressing the desired choice. This is similar to formatting text on Microsoft Word.
