Response for the acceptance of annual review meeting invitation on behalf of my boss?

Help me, what I want is to write an acceptance of a meeting in a response letter

"Dear Sir, This letter is to inform you that Dwight Hugh will be accepting the invitation to the Annual Review Meeting. "

If he is presenting anything or would like to bring up a topic then it should be mentioned in the letter. Because you are accepting on behalf of your boss it would be best to sign the letter and list what your title is within the company.

Actually I am at school. I was going through my English writing skills notes given by my teacher when I found that in formal acceptance salutation was not there. I want to ask if salutation is necessary?

By salutation I mean words like "Sincerely Yours" , "Yours Truly" , etc.

Yes, salutations are needed because that is how you close the letter. Sincerely is the salutation most often used but in an acceptance letter Thank you for your consideration or Yours Truly are also used. It is always best to use Sincerely when accepting a business related invitation or organization event. For weddings and birthdays, you can close with Congratulations.
