Fix iTunes When It’s Not Syncing with iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch

Using an iOS based device is quite a powerful temper, bearing every restriction implied by Apple now that is quite something. One of those curses is if you can't Sync your iOS device with iTunes. This happened to me many times, I tried and failed miserably while trying to sync my device to iTunes. I finally found a solution for this and in this article I will share with you on how to fix this issue.

Reminders

  • Make sure that you have installed the Latest iTunes Version.
  • Make sure that you are using the original Data Cable.

Instructions

  1. 1
    Quit and relaunch iTunes and perform a Manual Sync.
    Simply quit the iTunes and relaunch the app, sometimes it is enough to do the job.

    Reauthorized iTunes and the Computer.
    To re-authorized:

    1. Open iTunes while your device is attached to the PC.
    2. Pull Down "Store" Menu and choose "Deauthorize this Computer"
    3. Now Go back to Store Menu and Choose "Authorized This Computer"
    4. Fall in the Apple ID and Information and Choose "Authorized".

    Reboot the iOS Device.
    Press Home + Power button to do a hard reboot, basically hard reboot let the device behaves normally if it is not.

    Restart The Computer.
    This will empty all the RAM and cache, allowing iTunes to start everything from the Scratch.

    Try the opposite Syncing Method.
    If you have been using the Data Cable for Syncing Try the WiFi connection and if you are Using WiFi to connect try the USB Cable.

    Try a Different USB Cable or Different Port.
    Try another Data Cable or just change the USB port, maybe it will work.

    Reset and Restore the iOS Device.
    Do not perform this step if you haven't tried the above solutions because this method will erase all your data and your phone will go back to the factory settings like how it is then when the first time you bought it.
