We can tap 'Route' on other installed map applications
In this example, 'Route' next to 'Google Maps' is tapped as the application has already been installed. 'Google Maps' is going to tell us how to get from my location to the location of the chat partner. Directions to the destination will now appear. It will also show how far it is and how long will it take to get there by car. In this example, it is 8 minutes without traffic to get to Chloe, and 9 or 10 minutes by alternate routes. The shortest route is 3.2 kilometers, there are 3.5 and 3.9 too.
In this example, there are no highways again. If we are outside of the major metropolitan area like New York, Washington, Chicago, or London, and if we want to avoid some larger roads and highways systems, then those are the options to check; and they will make our life much easier.
If we are within the 'Google Maps' application, and there is a problem with our maps not refreshing, then simply tap twice the two arrows that switch our point of origin and our destination
This will almost always fix it. Otherwise, close the map application and restart it.
