Find YouTube Help on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Robert, Eng, Anonymous
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to find the help section using the 'YouTube' application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock your phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively, press the 'Lock' button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the 'Home' button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the 'YouTube' icon on the 'Home screen'.
In this example, the 'Home screen' is customized and might look a bit different. The icon is red framed with a triangle inside of a white square that looks like a TV screen. Tap it once to open the application.
Tap on the three horizontal lines icon in the top-left corner of the screen to open a new menu.
Opening the application should have automatically taken us to the 'What to watch' page which will be either specifically recommended videos we've watched (if we're signed in), or if we're not signed in, it will be the most watched or most popular videos on YouTube at that time. We can refer to the article on how to sign in with 'YouTube' on the iPhone 6 if we don't know how to sign in.
Tap on the icon in the top right corner that looks like a white gear to open the settings page.
Scroll down until you find the 'About' section and tap on the first option which is a button titled 'Help'.
This will load all of the help forums and frequently asked questions that we can go through to find ones that will match what we need help with.
For example, if we wanted to learn how to watch videos on iOS, we would tap here.
This will teach us how to watch a video.
To go back to the previous screen, tap the black arrow located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Alternatively, if we want to go back to the main settings menu, we can tap the gray arrow in the top-left corner of the screen.
In this example, we will be going back to the 'Help' page using the previous step.
We can scroll through and find out more about particular things, or we can tap on the red bar at the top to go the help forum.
This will load a discussion page which will be other people talking about the same problem and how to fix it.
Tap on the 'What's your topic?' button to access more information.
As we can see it says playing and watching, home page, YouTube life etc.
In this example, we will tap on the 'Uploading and managing videos' button.
It will load all of the forums to do with the uploading of videos onto YouTube.
To read any of them, tap on the box where the topic is located.
This will load the entire forum conversation, where we can scroll and find what we like.
To go back, tap on the black arrow in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Alternatively, we can tap on the gray arrow in the top-left corner of the screen to go back to the main menu screen, which we are going to do in this example.
Tap on the three horizontal lines icon in the top-left corner of the screen to go back again.
Tap on the 'What to Watch' button with a small house icon to go back to the screen we started from.
Now you know how to find the help section using the 'YouTube' application on the iPhone 6.
If you have any questions or comments please enter them below. Thank you for using VisiHow, goodbye.
