You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how you can perform a Factory Reset of your Kindle Paperwhite, and reset the device back to it's original settings. Just like it was when you first opened it.
- 9Tap the option "Reset Device" one time. This will present us with a pop up menu. This pop up informs us what resetting our device will do. It will remove all content downloaded onto the device, additionally resetting all of our settings. We will still be able to download items that we had previously on the Cloud, but this only works if we sign back in with the same Login. If we are not planning to do so, resetting our Kindle will return it to the same condition it was when we first received it. With no information, no settings, no books, and nothing else attached to it.
- 13This concludes our tutorial on how to reset your Kindle, and restore it to a factory default state.Thank you for choosing VisiHow, and have a great day.Advertisement
