Enter a Mood Message on Skype for HTC One M8
Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to enter a mood message or status in Skype on an HTC One M8.
To begin, unlock the phone.
We can do that by pressing down on the power button located on top of the phone. We'll then need to swipe the lock screen up, and that will take us to the home screen.
On the home screen, we need to tap the icon at the bottom of the phone, in the middle.
There is a grid made up of white dots. This will open up the applications folder.
In this folder, we need to find and tap the Skype application.
There is a Skype icon, which is a white "S" on top of a blue cloud, and underneath it says "Skype".
We now need to use the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
It's a circle with our profile photo in it.
Tap on "Enter mood message here" underneath of our profile photo.
This gives us the opportunity to enter a mood message. This is to update our contacts about what we're doing.
Type in a mood message with the keyboard and tap the white check mark at the bottom.
There's quite a lot of room in the text box, so we can write quite a bit.
To edit it again, just press down on the current mood message.
This concludes the tutorial on how to enter a mood message or status in Skype on an HTC One M8.
