Steps

    In order to turn on the Android developer mode for your Galaxy Tab, you're going to need to swipe down from the top of your device

    This will bring up the notifications panel

    Then, tap on the gear-shaped icon once

    You're going to need to scroll all the way to the bottom on the left side of the menu

    You will see the last two options "User manual" and "About device"

    Tap once on "About device"

    Then, scroll down on the right side of the window until you find "Build number"

    When you find "Build number" tap on it a total of 7 times

    If you decide to change this or not to use the developer mode, you will need to restart your device because the taps will remain active for a time.

    After 3 taps you will get a popup menu saying "You are now 4 steps away from being a developer"

    Continue tapping

    Then, scroll down on the left side of the window

    You will see we have a new menu for "Developer options"

    If you want to turn it off, tap once on the green button
