In order to proceed, make sure that your device is unlocked and that you're on the home screen.
The easiest way to turn "Airplane mode" on is by holding down the power button.
The power button is located in the top left-hand corner on the front surface of the device. The "Device options" shortcut menu will be shown.
Between "Power off" and "Restart", you can find and tap "Airplane mode".
The screen message will read: "Airplane mode allows you to turn off network features, including WiFi. To use WiFi, turn it on in Settings or the notification panel."
Simply tap on "OK".
You will see in the top right-hand corner that an airplane icon has replaced the WiFi icon. There is no network connection. This is what you do when you are flying on an airplane: you disable all of the network communication.
