Steps

    We tap and swipe down the screen from the top of the home screen

    We will be able to bring down our notification panel.

    In the top right-hand corner, we will find the gear- or wheel-shaped icon

    The icon stands for Settings. We tap it once.

    Once we are in Settings, we tap on the "General" menu

    Once we are in the "General" menu, we locate "Security"

    This is the second-to-last option under "Device manager" on the left-hand panel.

    Once we are in "Security", we scroll down

    We will find "Device administration". The second option under "Device administration" will be "Unknown sources".

    To check "Unknown sources", we tap its checkbox once

    A new pop-up "Unknown sources" menu will read, "Installing from unknown sources may be harmful to your device and personal data. By tapping OK, you agree that you are solely responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data that may result from using these applications."

    If we agree with the terms, we tap "OK"

    "Unknown sources" reads, "Allows installation of apps from sources other than the Play Store." It means that we will be able to download and install things from our web browser rather than the Play Store directory.
