Enable or Disable Skype Push Notifications on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Imado, Jen M
Hi. You are watching VisiHow, and today I am going to show you how you can enable and disable the Push Notifications on the 'Skype' App on the iPhone 6.
To begin with, we can unlock our phone, which we can do by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side.
Alternatively, we can press the big round button at the bottom of the screen, called the 'Home' button.
We can swipe and enter the passcode, or we can press our finger on the 'Home' button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner as well.
Once we're at the 'Home' screen, we just need to find the 'Skype' icon, which we can see is a light blue and a white icon with a blue 'S' in the center too.
Just tap that to open up the icon.
It will either take us to this Recent Contact screen, where we have a list of the contacts that we spoke to most recently or we will have a Sign In screen.
For today, we're going to go to the top right corner, where we have a very small picture of our profile picture.
Click on that picture to bring up the profile settings.
We want to go down to 'Settings' where we have a small blue cog on the left-hand side, and we can just tap on the bar to open up the settings.
Once we're there, the first option is 'Notifications'.
'Push Notifications' is when we will be notified even when 'Skype' isn't open so that it will be visible on the 'Home' screen on the application icon. At the moment now it is enabled because it is green.
To disable it you just click once and we will see it becomes white.
To go back, we can press the blue arrow on the top left corner.
We are exactly back here on the 'Home' screen.
This is a VisiHow video, and I have just shown you how you can enable and disable your Push Notifications on the 'Skype' application on the iPhone 6.
If you have any questions or comments please put them in the section below. Thank you very much for watching. Bye.
