Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to enable or disable notifications using the Groupon application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the settings icon, which is grey with a grey gear inside of it, and tap on it once to open the phone settings.
Scroll down to the list of applications listed in alphabetical order, and tap on "Groupon".
Tap on "Notifications", which is indicated by a grey icon.
Tap on the white button to the right of "Allow Notifications" to enable or disable the option.
The button will highlight with green if the option is enabled. Once we have the notifications enabled, we can start to edit our preferences.
Tap on "Show in Notification Center" to adjust how many we would like to see in our notification center.
We can select "10 Recent items", "5 Recent Items", "1 Recent Item", or "No Recent Items". The check mark on the right side will indicate which option is selected.
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to save the options and go back.
Tap on the button next to "Sounds", "Badge App Icon" or "Show on Lock Screen" to enable or disable those options.
If we've enabled "Show on Lock Screen", we can tap on one of the blue phone illustrations below to choose how we'd like to receive our notifications.
The default setting is "Banners", as we can see by the blue ring around the word "Banners". We can select "Alerts" or "None" as well, depending on our preferences.
Tap on the arrow located in the top-left corner of the screen to go back.
This will save our settings.
Press the home button, located on the front of the phone near the bottom.
Tap on the Groupon application icon, which is white with a green "G" inside of it, and continue in Groupon as we were.
Now you know how to enable or disable notifications using the Groupon application on the iPhone 6.
If you have any questions, comments, or queries, feel free to add them into the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
