You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how you can enable or disable notifications for the Uber application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing either the lock button or the home button.
Swipe and enter the passcode, or use the fingerprint scanner.
Find and tap the Settings icon, which is gray.
We need to scroll down until we find Uber, which will be towards the bottom because it's in alphabetical order.
Tap the bubble on the right-hand side to enable notifications.
It will turn green. Now we can start to edit our preferences.
We can tap "Show in Notification Center", and select how many notifications we'd like to see.
Press the chosen option and the check mark will move to it.
Press the back arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
It saves automatically.
We can enable or disable the sounds by pressing the bubble on the right-hand side.
We can enable or disable the badge app icon by pressing the bubble on the right-hand side.
We can enable or disable the option to show notifications on the lock screen by pressing the bubble on the right-hand side.
When it's green, it's enabled.
If we decide to show notifications on the lock screen, then we can choose from the three options at the bottom.
We can choose "None", "Banners", or "Alerts". The dark blue area shows us how it would be shown.
We can just press the back arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen and it will automatically save any changes.
Press the home button to go to the home screen.
