Enable or Disable Current Weather in Calendar with HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on or off the option to display the weather in the Calendar application on the HTC One M8.

Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone
    .
    Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe up

    Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

    We want to open up the applications folder

    To do that, we need this icon at the bottom of the home screen, in the middle. It looks like a grid of white dots. Press down on this icon to open our applications folder.

    In this folder, we need to find the Calendar application

    It is located at the top of the screen. It is an icon of a calendar with the word "Calendar" underneath it. Press down on this icon to open our Calendar application.

    We need to access the "Settings" menu
    .
    To do that, we need the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. It looks like three small white squares in a vertical line. Press down on this icon to open up a menu.

    We need the option called, "Settings"

    Press down on the word "Settings", and it will open up our "Settings" menu.

    Let's scroll down to the bottom, where it says "Display weather"

    Press down on this section, and some options will load.

    Here, we can change some things
    .
    We can change the city, or turn the option off altogether. It says "Tbilisi (Current)". There is a blue circle next to this option, which indicated that this is the option that has been selected. We can change this location to another location, or turn the option off completely.

    If we want to change it, just change it to one of the locations here

    If we can't see the location that we want, we can actually add a new location in the Viber application on the HTC One M8. Then, we would be able to choose that option here.

    If we want to turn it off completely, because we don't want to see the weather while viewing the Calendar application, then just tap on the "None" option, at the top

    Press down on that now.

    Now, underneath "Display Weather" it says, "None"

    We have successfully changed this option.
