    From the home screen, swipe down with two fingers

    This is going to reveal Quick Settings. You will see that "Airplane mode" on the left-hand side. It's currently grayed out and has a slash through it. That means it's off.

    To turn "Airplane mode" on, tap on it

    What "Airplane mode" does is it turns off all the radio networks of the device. So, it won't allow any cellular connections or Bluetooth or WiFi. Some airplanes do allow WiFi usage.

    You can turn WiFi on while "Airplane mode" is enabled by tapping on "WiFi"
    .
    This will allow you to connect to a WiFi network while "Airplane Mode" is enabled. It is not possible to enable something like cellular data. This will always not be an option in "Airplane mode".

    Turn on Bluetooth with "Airplane mode"

    When you've finished with "Airplane mode", and you want to be able to use the cellular data and voice functions of your phone again, you can tap on "Airplane mode" once

    This will show the "Geocell", which is the cell phone provider in this video. WiFi will be in white again, as the phone has been connected to that radio network.
