Enable Two Step Verification on Evernote

You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show how to use Google Authenticator and Evernote to enable two-step authentication in Evernote.
First, we click "Sign in".
We will sign into our Evernote account.
We click the profile icon at the bottom.
It is in the left-hand corner of the screen.
We click "Or just get started".
We click "Security Summary".
We click "Enable" to enable two-step verification.
We click "Continue" again.
We click "Send Verification Email".
We'll send a verification email message to our email address.
We open the email box and the message from Evernote to click "Confirm Email Address".
We enter our mobile phone number.
We open the verification code on the phone and copy it into the computer browser.
We can choose the version of Google Authenticator.
In this video, we click "Continue with iOS", as an iPhone phone is used.
We tap on the Authenticator application on the phone.
We tap on the plus icon on the top right.
We tap on "Scan barcode".
We scan the barcode.
We enter the six-digit code for Evernote.
It is 183283 in this video.
We click "Continue".
Evernote will give us some backup codes. We can copy-paste them and keep them in a safe area. The codes are not shown in this video.
We enter the backup code to prove that we have the copy of it.
Evernote will say: "Anytime you sign in to your Evernote account with a username and password, you will need to enter a verification code."
We click "Log out".
We'll sign out of the account.
We click "Sign in" to sign back in.
We enter the Evernote verification code into the browser.
The code is at the bottom of the screen on the phone. It is 926482 in this video.
We can also check the "Remember this computer for 30 days" option.
