Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how turn on "High contrast" on Windows 8 computers.
The first thing that we need to do is move the mouse cursor to the upper-right corner of the screen.
We will open the charms bar.
Once the charms bar is opened, we need to click "Settings".
Then, we click "Change PC settings".
We wait for the settings to load.
Once settings are loaded, we need to click "Ease of Access".
From "Ease of Access", we need to click "High contrast".
In this case, we haven't selected a "High contrast" theme; so, in "Choose a theme", "None" is shown.
We click the drop-down "Choose a theme" list.
We can click "High Contrast #1".
We can click "High Contrast #2".
We can click "High Contrast Black".
We can click "High Contrast White".
Let's go ahead and click "High Contrast #1" and then "Apply".
We wait for the theme to be applied. This might take several seconds. When the theme is applied, the high contrast profile will be set.
We go back to the Windows desktop.
It will have a high contrast.
This concludes our tutorial on how to turn on "High contrast" on Windows 8 computers. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
