Enable Handwriting on Google.com in Your Smartphone

A lot of people may miss on handwriting function of Google website on their smartphones. It might not be as comfortable as touchscreen keyboard but it adds a little extra to your phone's abilities.

This is the tutorial of enabling the aforementioned function on the Google website


Setting up the Handwriting Function on Google

    Open your web browser
    For our example, we'll use the Google Chrome web browser.

    Go to settings

    You should now see your regular keyboard
    However, it will have a little button added to it. Press this button to switch to handwriting option.

    This will give you more space to write comfortably.

Tips and Suggestions for Using Handwriting on Google

  • You can use almost any mobile web browser.
  • Clicking on the search box will let you use the keyboard again.
  • If Google doesn't recognize your letters correctly, try writing them differently.
  • For maximum precision always keep your fingers and the screen clean.
