Hi. You're watching VisiHow, and this is a tutorial on how to enable a slideshow for the desktop background, in Windows 7 computers.
First, right click on the desktop.
When the context menu opens, click 'Personalize'.
We will be brought to 'Personalization' section in the Control Panel.
In this window, we need to press 'Desktop Background'.
Click it once. The new section will open.
From this section, we need to select multiple files.
We can either browse for files on our computer, or choose from the existing Windows library.
If we want to set specific images, we need to select them, as if we would select other files.
For example, we can click on this image.
Then click and hold 'Ctrl'.
Now, we can select any other images, then they will also be selected.
To select a picture, hover the mouse over the picture, and then check the box in the upper left corner of the picture.
Once we have selected all of the pictures that we need, we can set the time period for the pictures to change.
To do so, click on the drop-down menu, that says '30 minutes'.
From here, we can select the time periods.
The minimum is 10 seconds, and the maximum is one day. Let's select 10 seconds.
An extra setting is to use 'Shuffle'.
Check it if we want to shuffle the images, uncheck it if you don't.
Once we're finished, press 'Save changes'.
Now we can close the Control Panel window.
This concludes our tutorial on how to enable a slideshow for desktop background on Windows 7 computers.
