Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to send a note by email when using the OneNote application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right-hand side
Then swipe the lock screen up
Here we have the home screen
I have the One Note application tile pinned to my home screen
If you don't you'll have to swipe left to the app menu
Then you can find it in that menu
We now want to enter "Tom's Notebook"
Then press "Quick Notes"
As you can see, we have some notes already made
I'm going to enter one of my notes that I've already made before
This is the "Audio Ideas 2" file
Just by pressing it I can activate it. That means I can start to edit it again.
Now we want to send it via email
Press the menu button at the bottom. That is the ellipses or the three dots in a line. This button can be a bit fiddly. It may require a couple of presses.
Now we are going to go to "share"
It has now brought up the different ways in which we can share this note
We can share it to Outlook, and this is what I want to do
I want to use Outlook to send an email, so I will just press the Outlook tile.
You can see we have the audio recordings and the audio recording I have created for this note
I want to send it to an individual
So I want to send this to the email address I have typed.
I'm going to press the send button, which is the one that resembles an envelope in motion
I can add more attachments if I want to by pressing the button that looks like a paper clip. I will send it now.
We see the email has been successfully sent
This concludes our tutorial on how to send a note by email when using the OneNote application in a Microsoft Lumia 535
