Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, we will show you how to email a Microsoft Office mobile document as an attachment on the LG L70.
To begin, we'll unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button.
Then swipe up one time to get to the home screen.
We have "Office Mobile" pinned to our home screen.
It's a red icon with a white 3D square inside of it.
If "Office Mobile" has not been pinned to the home screen, we can access it through the "Apps" menu by tapping on the "Apps" icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
It's a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it.
For now, we will open "Office Mobile" directly from the home screen by tapping on its icon one time.
The first thing we see is an advertisement for other mobile products from "Microsoft" that can be downloaded.
Bypass this by pressing the "x" in right corner of the red bar across the top of the screen.
Now, we can see our newly created documents as well as some sample files, which we can view to learn how to get started with the program.
If we need to view things created previously, we can do that by tapping on the folder icon in the middle at the top of the screen.
We can open files stored on "OneDrive" or in our "Dropbox".
We can also "Add a place".
For now, we'll go back to recent activity by tapping the clock icon at the top left.
We'll open the file called "Test.doc" by tapping on the file name one time.
When we first open the document, a blue bar will appear at the top of the screen.
If the blue bar disappears, we can make it reappear by tapping on the screen.
Tap on the icon with three small squares or bullet points at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
The pop-up menu that appears gives us the option to "Share" the document, "Save as", "Open in OneDrive" or "Send feedback".
We want to "Share" the document, so we'll choose the first option by tapping it one time.
It allows us to email the document as a link or as an attachment.
We are going to send the file as an attachment, so we need to select the second option which is "Email as attachment".
We can "Share via..." "Drive", "Email" or "Gmail".
For now, we'll use "Gmail", so tap there one time to open up a new Gmail message.
We need to enter a recipient in the "To" line, and it will start to filter the results as we begin typing.
We can then select a name from the list.
Enter a subject if desired.
Type in the body of the email any other text.
If we scroll down, we will see the attached file.
In order to send the message, we need to tap on the send icon, which is the middle icon at the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
It looks a bit like a paper airplane.
When we tap the icon once, it says "Sending message..." at the bottom of the screen.
We can now close the application by pressing the bottom center button one time to return to the home screen.
This concludes today's tutorial on how to email an MS Office Mobile document as an attachment on the LG L70.
