    To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen

    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    Find the eBay icon on the home screen

    The icon is a white color with the word 'eBay' in red, blue, yellow, and green. Tap it once to open the application.

    Scroll to the bottom and tap on "Settings", which is indicated by a gear and a flag

    There are other options for messages, followed searches, and profile as well. As we can see, we are currently on the eBay home page, which is indicated by the small blue "Home" icon in the bottom-left corner being highlighted blue.

    Scroll down through the multiple sections and tap on "Notifications" to edit which notifications we want

    Tap on any one of the options to disable or enable it

    In this menu, we have the options for push notifications, buying, selling, and general. In this example the green section indicates all the options are enabled. The section turns white to indicate that the option is disabled. The settings will automatically save when you change them.

    Tap on buying, selling or general to enable more options

    From here, we can enable and disable more specific options as we like

    Enable or disable general settings, which is just when you receive a message

    Tap to enable or disable. When it is green, it means it is enabled, when it is white, it is disabled.
