Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video we are going to show you how to Edit when to Auto-update apps on an HTC One M8.
- 3We need this icon now. It is the icon for the Applications folder. It is located at the bottom of the Home screen, at the middle. We can see that it is a grid made of white dots. Press down on this icon and it will open the Applications folder. One the phone has been unlocked we will see the Home screen and at the bottom there are some icons.
- 8What is currently selected is this option. We can see the turquoise circle and that means that this option is selected. It says "Auto-update apps over WiFi only." This means to only update the apps when we have WiFi because otherwise it can be expensive if we are using Roaming cost or we are using other functions. Also, it can be very slow. With WiFi we know that it might be quick, and we have a contract, or we can use a Hotspot. We can, however, change this option. We can change it to "Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply." It might be very useful for us to update our apps at all time because we get the latest information. But it may cost us more money. We can see that we have a little menu.
