Hi. You're watching VisiHow. This is tutorial on how to add a Virtual Gamepad layout in ePSXe PlayStation 1 Emulator on an Huawei G700.
Start out by unlocked the screen.
To unlock it we need to press the Unlock button in the right side of the phone. Tap it once.
Once the screen is unlocked we need to go to the "Emulators" folder, in this case.
Now select the Emulator itself.
Once it's open, we need to go to the "Preferences."
Now we need to scroll down.
To scroll down we need to swipe the screen up with the finger.
We need to go into the "Touch Screen Gamepad" menu.
Tap it once.
Here we have to select "Pad1 Format Editor."
The screen will show us all the buttons that we can edit.
To make it simpler, adjust the phone horizontally. Now we can edit these button. For example, if we don't like this current lay out we can always change the positions of the buttons.
For example, we can move modules on the screen, if it's more comfortable.
To change the size, we need to first select the module by tapping on it, and then pressing the "+ (plus)" icon.
We can see that it has increased.
To decrease the size, we have to press the "- (minus)" sign.
Tap it and press "- (minus)."
We can also tap any other buttons and hide them.
For example, to hide the analog button in the middle, we can select it, and then tap "Hide Show." In case we have a hard time hiding it, we can just press and hold the "Hide Show" icon until the red "X" appears on the button. Now it's hidden and it will no longer be available in the actual game layout. But we can always enable it from this menu.
Once we are sure that everything is done and everything is set according to our preferences, tap "Save and Exit."
When the menu pops up tap, "Yes, save and quit."
For these changes to take effect we need to press Back which is located in the lower left corner of the phone.
But in this case, it is on the lower right corner, right now.
Once we've tapped it the Preferences are saved.
This concludes our tutorial on how to edit a Virtual Gamepad layout in ePXSe PlayStation 1 Emulator on Huawei G700.
