You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how you can edit your social settings in the Flipagram application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the lock button.
Alternatively, we can press the home button.
We enter our passcode or use the fingerprint scanner.
We need to find and tap the Flipagram icon once to open the application.
Flipagram will automatically take us to our home page, which is where we see different posts, depending on people whom we follow and on what's trending.
We can scroll through and find interesting posts.
We can play the particular posts. Our current page is indicated by the house icon in the bottom-left corner.
We need to tap the head-and-shoulders symbol in the bottom right-hand corner.
Tapping it will open our profile.
We tap the settings wheel icon in the top-right corner.
We tap "Settings" then to access our settings.
We'll have several different sections on the "Settings" page. There are two VisiHow tutorials on "PLAYER SETTINGS" and "PHOTO SETTINGS".
We scroll down to the social settings.
The section is slightly different, as the social settings are separated from the other settings.
We can then tap "Social Accounts".
We can select which social accounts we want to combine with the Flipagram application.
In this video, only "Facebook" is checked. There is a check on the right-hand side of it. This is just because Facebook used to sign into Flipagram. However, if we signed in using email, then it's likely that we won't have "Facebook" checked in this section. We can go through and tap social accounts.
Let's tap "Instagram", for example.
After tapping "Instagram", Flipagram will ask us to log into our Instagram account to allow access for Flipagram.
We enter the user name and password.
Once we've entered the details, we just tap "Log In" in the green box at the right-hand side.
We'll see that once we've logged in, Flipagram will request to access the Instagram application.
We can tap "Cancel" if we don't want to share the information with Flipagram.
Alternatively, we tap "Authorize" in the green box to allow access.
Instagram will have a check on the right-hand side in the "Social Accounts" section. That means that we've combined the accounts.
The same process can be applied to the remaining social accounts.
Instagram was used as an example.
We come back by tapping the arrow.
We can tap "Notifications" to edit our notifications as well.
The only option that "Notifications" has is to see Facebook birthdays. The default setting is that it's enabled; so the toggle is blue.
We can tap the toggle once to disable the notification.
The toggle will turn white.
We press the arrow to come back.
Then, we have the option to follow Flipagram on different social media.
Let's tap "Follow Us On Facebook", for example. Generally, the same principle will apply to the rest of the social media. If we tap "Follow Us On Facebook", the Facebook application will open and take us straight to the Flipagram page.
We can tap "Like" if we want to follow the page.
We press the home button twice.
We tap the Flipagram panel to come back to "Settings".
If we want, we can go back by tapping the arrow in the top-left corner.
We'll get back to our previous screen.
Alternatively, we can tap the home icon in the bottom-left corner.
We'll get back to the screen where we started.
This is a VisiHow video. We've just shown you how you can edit your social settings in the Flipagram application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below. We'll do our best to get back to you.
