Hello, you're watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to show how you can edit your profile on the Pinterest application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the Lock button or the Home button.
Swipe to enter the passcode, or simply use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Pinterest icon, which is red and white.
It has a white "P" inside of a red circle. Press it once to open the app. It will automatically take us to the homepage, which is a dashboard of all the pins we're following. If you're not signed in, you need to sign in first, which you can learn how to do in another video on VisiHow.
Go to the box in the bottom right-hand corner where there is a little stick man with a head and shoulders.
Press the icon to find your profile.
Press the cog icon in the top right-hand corner.
We can see the details at the top of the page, along with some icons.
We can go through and press on "First Name" to change it if preferred.
Just type as normal, and press "Done" when finished. Press "Last Name" to change that too, if desired.
Press "Username" to adjust it, if preferred.
Press "Done" when finished.
Press "About You" to edit the section.
It will bring up the keyboard to type. Press "Done" when finished.
Press "Website" to add or edit a website address, if desired.
Press "Done" when finished.
Press "Location" to enter a location, if we want to add our location, as well.
Press "Done" when finished. It's all the same format, where we just type as we would anything else on our iPhone.
Press "Profile Picture", and we can change our profile picture.
We can either take a photo or choose an existing photo. It needs to have access to the camera for this.
Find the "Settings" icon, which is a gray cog with a darker gray circle inside.
Press it to open the "Settings" menu.
Scroll down to the bottom and find "Pinterest".
It is in alphabetical order, so "Pinterest" will be located towards the bottom. Press "Pinterest".
Click the button next to "Photos" to enable or disable it.
It's white when disabled, and green when it's enabled.
Double-tap the Home button and go back to Pinterest.
Return to the "Profile Picture" setting in the "Edit Profile" section. It will allow access to our profile picture.
Tap "Choose Existing Photo".
Click through to find something interesting.
Press "Choose" to keep it as the profile picture.
Press "Save" located at the top right-hand corner of the screen when finished and all the new settings will be saved.
Now the profile picture is updating.
Press the "P" icon located at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, and it will take us straight back to the dashboard where we began.
This is a VisiHow video, and I've just shown you how you can edit your profile in the Pinterest application on an iPhone 6.
