Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to edit your privacy settings using the Pinterest application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find and tap on the Pinterest application, which has a red and white icon that has a white "P" inside of a red circle.
This will take us to the main dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom, and tap on the head and shoulders icon on the right side.
This will take us to our profile.
Tap on the gear icon in the top-right corner to go settings.
Tap on the second option "Account Settings".
This will take us to the main details of our account.
Scroll down and find the "Privacy" section.
We have the option to hide our profile from search engines by tapping the first option in the section. It will highlight red to indicate that it is enabled.
We also have the option to change the setting for contact storage on Pinterest, by tapping on the second option.
In this example we need to have our contacts enabled through settings, we will tap "OK" to dismiss the prompt.
Press on the home button.
Find our settings icon, which is gray with a dark gray gear inside.
Scroll all the way down to the apps section (which is in alphabetical order), and find and tap on "Pinterest".
The icon is indicated by a "P" in a red circle.
Tap on "Contacts" to allow contacts.
It will highlight green to indicate that the option is enabled.
Tap on the Pinterest icon.
Tap on the head and shoulders icon in the bottom-right corner to go to our profile.
Tap on the gear icon in the top-right corner to go to the settings.
Tap on "Account Settings".
Scroll down and tap on "Store your contacts on Pinterest".
As we can see, the setting now works.
Tap on "Not Now" to dismiss the option.
Tap on the red "Upload" button to continue.
It saves automatically and we don't need to do anything else.
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner two times to go back to the main profile.
Tap on the Pinterest icon in the bottom-left corner to go back to the dashboard where we began.
Now you know how to edit privacy settings using the Pinterest application on the iPhone 6.
