Can I edit the text of my work if already saved it in a JPEG format?

I have finished doing my work when I saw some things that needed corrections. Could I still fix it?

If you've saved your Photoshop project as a JPEG, and you did not keep a copy based on Photoshop format, then, any changes you have to do from the scratch, all your layers and effects are gone. Always make it a habit to save as Photoshop format, for future edits, and save as a copy in other formats like JPG, Tiff, etc.
