Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to use the crop, rotate, auto fix functions to any photos on Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, we are going to tap the power button located on the right side of the photo.
Now we have entered the lock screen, swipe up to enter to the Home screen.
We want to enter the photo so we are going to find the Photos on the Home screen.
Press the Photos icon to enter the Photos.
Now, we are searching the photos.
We are going to use this photo here - a nice picture of some people in the spaceship. What we want to do is to edit this. We can do that in a number of ways.
We want to edit the photo so we will press the Pencil button.
Here, we have the choice of which program or application we are going to use on the photo.
There is Lumia Creative Studio and Crop, Rotate, and Auto-fix.
You can, of course, add more editing applications if you chose to.
We are going to use this Crop, rotate, auto-fix.
So now, we have the image.
The different button we have the arrow which is to rotate it, arrow button press that if you are going to rotate the image - as you can see, it's rotated.
The other option here is to crop it.
If you press the square icon, then it brings up these lines with 4 blue colors. What we are going to do is press on these lines. We can also move the square.
We can also press the square button which is the ratio button at the bottom.
Now, we have a choice of different ratios; if you want 10.8 or you want 16.9 - you can choose different ratios.
Now, you choose your ratio and then you can use the blue corners to increase the size.
So we just want a specific area.
We just want the happy people's face in this spaceship that's ready to launch and colonize any Galaxy. Press the tick (check) button.
Now we have the cropped image.
The other button here is the auto-focus button - the one with light button.
Press that button.
It is going to auto-focus and auto-correct the image.
You might want to do this - you might want to press the button and see what happens. If you like the results, you can keep; it not, then turn it off
I do not practically like results in the photo so I am not going to use it.
The far right option we have is to save the image. Save image will just save the photo and it will actually draft your image. When you crop it and you save it then you would not have the opportunity to go back. So we press the save button and it is now going to save the image.
We have the option to open this in Lumia camera.
This new image has overwritten the old image. You have lost the previous image. Be careful when you crop it so you do not accidentally delete the photo or overwrite the photo when you want to keep the original version instead. If you want to keep your original version you want to open this in another program or application such as Lumia Creative Studio to gives you more options and allow you to create a new image.
We have the options here at the bottom then it will just give us an option to set in as a Lock Screen image.
We also have options to share it, to delete it or to like it.
We go back. We can see that the image has been edited and the original version has been lost.
This concludes our video on how to use the crop, rotate and auto fix function to edit photos when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
