Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to edit chat settings using the Kik application on the iPhone 6.



Steps

    To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    Find the Kik icon, which is the one with a black speech bubble, and tap it once to open the application

    It will take us to the page where we can view our chats.

    Tap on the gear icon in the top-left corner to open the settings menu

    We can upload our address book by tapping on the bubble next to "Address Book Matching" to enable the option

    Now we will enter our phone number and tap on "Submit"

    Tap on "Cancel" to dismiss the option and go back

    In this example, we'll tap cancel and the option will be disabled. If it's enabled, the bubble will indicate green.

    We can view our block list by tapping on the bubble next to "Block List"

    In this example, there are no blocked users - but if we have users blocked, they are listed here.

    Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back

    Tap on the bubble next to "Enter Key Send" to enable the option to press the enter key to send a message

    Tap it again to disable it.

    Tap on a color to select it

    In this example, we'll choose pink.
