Does sitting down worsen your singing voice?

Sitting down normally will not hurt your singing voice for you are simply just sitting down. If you are in fact asking that if singing while sitting can hurt you then this is possible for it will put extra stress on your diaphragm when trying to sing thus changing the tone and range of your voice.

It is very important depending on the tone you are going for to be standing when singing to give you the ability to sing without having to strain harder so that you can project louder or keep your same tone. If it is possible stand and sing to allow you to be able to sing with your normal tone with no complications.
