When consumed in high amounts, cinnamon has been both inducing periods and keeping them less intense as a folk remedy. The thing is that it contains a chemical compound that regulates insulin. If you wish to find other foods that induce periods, you can try parsley, celery, chamomile, sage, basil, pomegranate, licorice root, chicory root, papaya juice, and other products.
