Do Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Unboxing

Hi, you are watching VisiHow and today we are going to be showing you how the Samsung S5 is initially set up. This is actually an S5 mini; it is the little brother to the original Samsung Galaxy S5. It is a less powerful phone. The main changes are that it is simply has a slightly slower processor, about 500 MB less RAM, and a smaller battery. However, since it is a smaller phone you can actually get another hour's worth of use out of it.
At any rate, let us go ahead and get started with unboxing this, give me a moment to get a sharp object and pop the box open.
Okay there we go. Sorry that was not on the camera for you.
Let us pull this out.
We have the standard Samsung box. There is our shiny new Samsung Galaxy S5 mini. I picked the one that has the two SIM cards; it is a duos, simply because the more SIM cards you have the more you can do with it. Let's move this box out of the way, we don't need that anymore. We are going to save that because that is where everything else will be stored.
Let's see what we have here, pop this open, here we have the operating manual, nothing that we particularly need now.
In here, we have some extra headphone bud pieces.
We have our USB cable for our charger, our battery, our power supply, and a nice little set of headphones.
So I am done with this box too let's push this out of the way, all right.
There is the phone.
The very first thing we are going to do is pop the back cover off the phone. You will notice that there is a small notch here, on the back of the phone, that small notch is where we will put our fingernail and simply pull upwards. Okay, you can hear that popping as you open the back cover.
The one thing great about this phone verses its big brother, the Samsung Galaxy S5, is that it has the same type of waterproofing as the other phone; however, you can see that the charging port does not have a plug.
You simply use it normally as you would at any other time.
The first thing we could do is insert the battery but we are actually going to put in a SIM card.
As you can see, we have SIM one and SIM two, I'm going to go ahead and put the SIM card in the SIM one slot.
Now we will insert the battery.
We make sure the gold leads on the battery go up against this. Let's put the battery in here and pop the battery down the battery is in.
Everything is set up so let us go ahead and pop this cover back on.
There we are.
Next, let us take this plastic off because we do not need that.
It looks like there are some fingerprints on here, which would indicate that someone else has turned this phone on. That is what they do in the phone stores sometimes.
Hold the power button, the power button is over here on the side, and it's going to start up now.
"Samsung Galaxy S5 mini powered by Android", here we go it is powering up.
It has started up, so what I'm going to do is give it a swipe, nice slow touchwiz.
So, check battery cover. According to the phone, the cover may not be on all the way. We will check that out in a minute.
Here is your phone you can slide through the screens, as you normally could.
You can always press the home button to get back to your home screen.
If you are in an app, you can also press the back button to go back.
There you have it. We will get another video out to you shortly on the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini. Thanks for watching VisiHow, and have a great day.
