Do Multi Colored Nails with Accent Beads
Kara, Jen M, Eng, Inukshuk
Hello, you are watching VisiHow my name is Kara and in this video I will show you how to do a multi color nail design also using the beads for your design.
I will need a base for my design which would be a French manicure base, it's a semi clear beige color.
I will need a matte blue nail polish,
And this is kind of a see color blue nail polish
As well and a glossy red color,
Of course I have a set of these that I used to to do the cadver design with you can watch it in one of my previous videos
First, I will need to do the base. I'm going to go with two layers as I usually. Do it's harder to do it on the right hand because I'm left handed.
I mean I'm right handed see using the left hand is kind of difficult that is why I am using a very clear, very light color, a very natural color
it is easy to apply. I just removed my nail polish and you can see, I left it on my left hand with this springy or Japanese kind of art style that I use with help of the nail stickers.
So you might want to see the way I did it
Also, another one of my videos in case if you don't have any nail polish remover. There is also another video that you can watch where I show how to remove your nail polish without any solution, with just some help from a nail file. It might be very helpful. Okay, so the first layer is done, it needs to dry off just a little bit.
Let's go for a second layer
What I like about design nails at home, is it sort of gives you a freedom of art, you can be an artist and you can do things the way you want them to be
This is a very natural color and it will go well for a bride design. I screwed it up, but while it is still fresh I can fix it OK.
So I'm finished with the base and the next thing I'm going to do is check and see if it's dry enough
It's still sticky we need to wait just a couple more minutes.
You can blow on your fingers so that the process is faster
Okay, so what I'm going to do next is start with a bigger fingernail will come back to the small one. I just wanted to be visible.
I'm going to open all 3 of my fingernail polish and this is what I'm doing, I'm going to make drops 1, 2 & 3 one color
And 1, 2 & 3 of a different color
And I will put a drop of red in the center like this
Now I'm using an old gel ink pen that is not working anymore,
I'm going to dip the end of it and drag it here and then dipped in drag
Keep the napkin next to you so that you can wipe the nail polish off the pen,
And from there, I'll just do this so we have sort of a tree color leave before it has dried
I think the yellow or maybe the pink
Yes, lets put yellow golden in the middle
I just need a tiny bit.
I'm going to use the wooden applicator, what the end of it so that the beads will get attached
And I'm going to transfer the bead into the center of my flower
I use these all ready to do a cavier design
It's called the cavier design when you apply these all over the square of your fingernail. So you can also use them separately. This looks quite nice I don't know if you can see it or not, but it looks clear it reflects the light and you can see this golden.
So let's go for the next one we're going to do 5 leave
And we can actually add some beads let's get some green in there.
Okay, so the next one, 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5
Just like this and a red one in the center
That might have been way too much, but that's okay because we are creating.
So again from the center down to the end
Wipe it off and again
And like this now you see I have applied too much red to make it look more like a flower, we need to wipe this off
From the side I'm going to go to the center, okay
So now I'm going to get my applicator back and I'm going to apply some of the yellow into the center of my flower
And I think I can go with this semi clear green one
To apply a tiny bit on the flower leaves
No just push them a tiny bit with your finger, so they get attached better
It looks like a 3D flower on your fingernails.
Because I used several colors is it it is also very interesting to watch it very closely
let's put this one first this time. 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.
It is nice when different colors get mixed in
I think this one will be the best one so far. and some red to go in the middle.
No if you can see the red and the blue next will give me a purple color
I will start with purple in the middle, blue and then green.
I should be quite beautiful
please don't forget to be wiping the end of your pen. you could also be using a needle or a toothpick. just drag it out.
OK this looks like a drunk star fish, but we will fix it in a minute
Go from the outside to the inside
OK one more time over here
so now we have a very clear, very interesting flower lets of some beads in the center.
OK this is quite nice and now let's do our thumb
I quite like doing the some designs much the most because it's bigger and it allows me to do the bigger things.
OK I think I need to add a tiny bit here.
I dropped a red in the center.
I just gives some deapth
I feel like I'm a real artist working with oil paints. now again to define the flower Leafs.
OK and we have to add the beads
Its funny how much they look like little Care Bears
For carebear lover, like me, then you would definitely appreciate it. So let's wait until it dries off. Oh, we forgot the little one and maybe we can try to do just green and red.
Let's make 1, 2, 3 leaves here
We'll see how it works.
2, the more contrast colors you use in your designs the better and 3, I will have to remove this.
Wipe it off before it dries
Let's wipe the end of the pen off.
Now a bit and we will be done
This is quite simple and quite beautiful
something that you can do with your left hand just like I did.
