Edited by Grimm, Robert, Eng
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to disable the iCloud mail option on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the home button at the bottom of the phone.
Alternatively, we can press the lock button on the right side of the phone.
Once at the lock screen, we will swipe right to enter our passcode.
Alternatively, we can hold our finger to the home button which also works as a fingerprint scanner.
From the main home screen, find the settings panel icon.
It is a silver and gray icon with a series of gears inside of it. Tap the icon once to open settings.
Now, we will scroll down and find the "Mail, Contacts, Calenders" button.
Tap on it once.
Now, we are going to tap on the "iCloud" button at the top of the list of settings options.
The iCloud account includes mail, contacts, calendars, Safari, and a number of other things.
In this menu, we can choose to enable or disable a number of things. If they are things that we use, we should keep them enabled. We will disable the things that we don't use. We can see there are many things to turn on or off, like contacts, calendars, reminders, Safari, notes, passbook, backup, key chain, and Find My iPhone. In this example, we will disable "Mail". Tap it once.
Tap on the gray arrow in the top-left corner of the screen to go back to the mail, and tap it again to go back to settings.
Press the home button twice.
Tap and swipe up on the settings panel window.
Tap on the home screen window.
Find the Mail icon, which looks like a blue square with a white letter envelope inside of it, and tap on it once.
We will check the iCloud mail folder to see if it no longer functions.
Press the home button twice to go back to the main home screen.
As we can see, there are no mail accounts functioning. Our iCloud has been turned off and we have the option to set something up.
This concludes our tutorial on how to disable iCloud mail on the iPhone 6.
