Difference between a SIM card and memory card?
I am returning a Galaxy S4 Active and was told to remove the memory/SIM cards. Is there a difference between a SIM card and memory card?
A SIM card is what connects you to the network you are on. The memory card or SD card is what stores the internal phone data such as contacts or application. Two separate cards located in the back of your device. You can see in this YouTube Tutorial exactly where they are located. There are only so many chips you can remove from the back of a phone so do not worry as you will get the correct ones when you begin the removal process.
What is stored on the memory card which the user (me) can replace? Is it just photos and music; or are downloads also stored there? Thanks JM?
I'm confused as to what "items are stored on the expandable memory in cell phones. The article didn't list exactly "what" is stored on the expandable memory chip.
