Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, we'll show you how to delete a single message in a thread in Facebook Messenger on the LG L70.
To begin, we'll unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button.
Then swipe up one time to get to the home screen.
We do not have Facebook messenger on the home screen, but we can access it through "Facebook".
We can also use the "Apps" icon at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
It's a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it.
Once we tap on this icon, we can view all of the applications that are downloaded and visible on our phone.
Swipe left or right across the screen to find the "Messenger" icon, which is a blue chat bubble.
Tap on the icon one time to open Facebook Messenger.
We can scroll through and open a conversation by tapping on the message one time.
To delete a single message in this thread, we need to press and hold down on that message.
The phone will vibrate slightly and a menu will appear.
Now, we can select "Delete".
A message appears stating, "Once you delete your copy of the message, it cannot be undone."
We an confirm this by pressing "DELETE MESSAGE" in blue at the bottom right.
Now, we can see that one message has been deleted, but the thread of messages is still there.
We can close Facebook Messenger and return to the home screen by pressing the bottom center button one time.
This concludes today's tutorial on how to delete a single message in a thread of messages on Facebook Messenger on the LG L70.
