Delete a Meal on MyFitnessPal from iPhone 6
Freya, Alexander Avdeev
Hi! You are watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how you can delete a meal in the 'MyFitnessPal' application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we should unlock our phone, which we can do by pressing the 'Lock' button on the right-hand side of the handset
Alternatively, we can press the big round 'Home' button located at the bottom of the screen
Once the 'Lock' screen is brought up, we can swipe right
We can enter our passcode or just hold the finger onto the 'Home' button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner too
This will open the 'Home' screen.
We should find the 'MyFitnessPal' icon
In my case, the 'Home' screen is personalized by keeping everything in folders. The 'MyFitnessPal' icon is in the 'Useful' folder. The icon itself is identifiable by the blue background with a silhouette of a person in white jumping, and there is a grey dumb-bell in the top-left corner of the icon.
We tap 'MyFitnessPal' to open the application
It takes us straight away to the page on which we have been last.
We can tap the 'Home' icon
This is the page we are mostly likely to be shown during the start. This shows a calorie count for the day, some information, and blog posts.
This is the second option in the bar along the bottom. Our food and calories for today will be shown.
If we are looking through and notice that we accidentally added food that we did not want or did not have, then we simply swipe left on the food
A red box will come up on the right-hand side.
The application does not give us any second chance. It just deletes the food.
Let's try again and swipe left on another food
We can delete all of the food listed in a meal if we have not had it. In the example, the dinner and the rest food are deleted. That is how we delete a meal.
We tap the 'Home' icon in the bottom left-hand corner to get back to the 'Home' screen
The icon has a picture of a house.
We are back where we started
