You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to remove, or disable, the briefing screen from your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge.
In order to disable the briefing screen, your phone needs to be unlocked.
From the home screen, you need to find an empty space on the screen and simply tap and hold it.
Lift off the finger and swipe to the right until you can swipe no further.
You will see the briefing screen shortcut.
In order to disable the briefing screen, all you need to do is uncheck the box on the top.
Once you've unchecked it, the briefing screen will be disabled.
To re-enable the briefing screen, you can simply repeat the steps above and tap the unchecked box to check it.
For the purpose of this video, we are going to disable the briefing screen.
Disabling the briefing screen speeds up the phone, and there are much better news applications.
When you've finished, you can swipe back to your screen.
Alternatively, simply press the home button.
You will go back to the home screen of your phone.
