Delete Account Pictures in Windows 8
Edited by Lukward Thomason, Crystal, Eng, Anonymous
Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to remove a user account picture on a Windows 8 computer.
We can access the user accounts and manage the pictures there by first hovering the mouse to the right of the screen and clicking "Settings".
Then, click "Change PC Settings".
Click "Accounts" on the left-hand side.
There will be several pictures here that we have already taken, but if we want to remove some of all of them, we have to do the following steps.
First, we need to access the desktop by moving the mouse to the upper left-hand corner of the screen and then clicking on the desktop.
Now we need to open the file explorer by double clicking "This PC".
In the address bar, we have to type in "%appdata%\microsoft\Windows\accountpictures", then hit "Enter".
We will then be in the account pictures directory.
We can remove one by clicking it and pushing the "Delete" key on the keyboard.
Click "Yes" or hit "Enter".
If we go back to the account pictures, the one that we deleted is no longer shown.
This concludes the tutorial on how to remove a user account picture on a Windows 8 computer.
