Welcome to VisiHow! In this video, we are going to show you how to create a report in Microsoft Office when using the Microsoft Lumia 535.

Steps

    Press the power button to turn the phone on

    The button is located on the right-hand side of the phone. The lock screen will appear.

    Swipe the lock screen up to go to the home screen

    Locate the Office tile
    .
    We are looking for an orange-background tile with a white three-dimensional square. This is the Office tile.

    If Office is not pinned to your home screen, swipe to the left and find Office in the applications menu

    Press the Office tile to enter the application

    To create a new report, press the icon with a black cross in a black circle at the bottom of the screen

    Press "Report" under "Word templates" to create a report

    A template for a status report will appear. You can edit every part of it by pressing or pressing and holding the corresponding area.

    Now, you can edit or delete this word or the whole line.

    The delete button is a black "x" inside a box on the right-hand side of the screen. After you press the delete button, the highlighted area will be erased.

    Type "sales" by using the keypad. Office will make all characters capitalized automatically.

    If you want to increase the highlighted area, just keep dragging the circles underneath the selected area.

    A copy button at the top of the area will appear. It is the gray circle with two sheets of white paper inside.

    To comment on a project, press a project title

    Let's select "Project 2". You can then highlight any part of the text in "Project 2". Highlight the whole line by dragging the right circle underneath the line.

    A new menu will appear. Commenting is a very interesting feature.

    Let's write "Good project". This comment will now be attached to the status report, but it will not be displayed in the report, as the comment is analytical. We can write a comment to each section or to each particular word. The report is going to present information, and comments will be there for further analysis later.

    To change a word when it is not highlighted, press one circle at the bottom of the word

    "Project 2" is being highlighted by the cyan color unlike "Project 1" or any other words on the screen. It is telling you that "Project 2" has a comment.

    The button is on the far left. It has three horizontal lines inside a black circle. Pressing it shows you an overview and outline of a long project; therefore, allowing you not to scroll around much to look for a specific area. After you press the outline button, a new menu will pop up, showing where you are currently on the screen and all other parts of the status report. We are on "Progress this week".

    This will allow you to send an e-mail message with the status report, for example, to your colleagues. Pressing "share..." will also bring up a menu where you can save the latest changes made to the status report.

    Now, you can choose a name for the file and the location of the saved file. The options for the location are "phone", "SD card", and "OneDrive". OneDrive allows other people or you to access the document from different areas and devices.

    Once it is saved or uploaded successfully, you will have the option to share it. You can share it by Bluetooth, OneNote, Outlook, or OneDrive.

    You might want to send the e-mail message to a friend. An Outlook application with your associated account will be opened. The document, "Status Report.docx", has already been attached to the message.

    A new window will open. It will either warn you that the application could not find any contacts or let you choose an available contact. I do not have any contacts available, but a professional businessman will obviously have some.
