Create a To-Do List on OneNote Using Microsoft Lumia 535
Edited by Thor, Rushell, Eng, Anonymous
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to create a to-do list with the OneNote application when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
At the lock screen swipe up from the bottom to go to the Home screen.
We now need to press the OneNote tile.
Mine is located on the Home screen.
If you do not see the OneNote tile on your Home screen, you will need to swipe from right to left to pull up the App menu, where you can scroll and find the OneNote application.
Then if you want, you can pin it to your Home Screen.
Upon opening the OneNote application, we will see our open notebooks.
We're going to enter my personal notebook, so I'll tap on tom's Notebook.
Now, we'll press Quick Notes.
This next screen shows us the available Quick Notes.
We want to create a new to-do list, so we press the plus icon, located at the bottom of the screen.
Now, we have the option to input our data.
Tap on Enter title to add a title to the list.
After you have entered the title, you can press anywhere on the screen below it to add items to your list.
With the first icon below the keyboard at the bottom of the screen, we can make a checklist.
This will put a box in front of each list item, so you can check it off as you complete it. To mark an item as complete, simply tap on the checkbox. It is really helpful for keeping track of what you have and have not done.
A new checkbox will appear each time you hit the return button.
To get out of the last checkbox or remove it, we can press the return button twice, and the last checkbox will be removed.
We can also create a different type of list, a bullet point list, and that is the second option at the bottom of the screen.
Press that icon to create a bullet point. This works similarly to the checklist, and a new bullet will be created each time you hit the return button.
If we press the menu icon, the ellipsis, or three dots, at the bottom right corner of the screen, we have the option to make some changes.
We can tap on numbered list to start a numbered list if we prefer that.
To exit a numbered or bulleted list, simply press return twice.
As you can see, in this section we are able to create two different types of lists, one with the checkboxes and one with bullets or numbered points.
Then we can input the data as we need. To save the list, we are simply going to press the back arrow at the right bottom of the screen. Press this arrow twice, and your to-do list will be automatically saved.
This concludes our tutorial on how to make to-do lists when using the OneNote application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.
