Edited by Lukward Thomason, VisiHow, Dougie
You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to assign a full-screen button on the VisualBoyAdvance emulator.
To begin, open the VisualBoyAdvance emulator.
I have it on my desktop, but you may have it saved in another area on your system.
When the emulator opens, click on "Tools" in the menu at the top of the screen.
Click "Customize" at the bottom of the drop down menu that appears.
Now, scroll through the list on the left side of the screen and find "OptionsVideoFullScreen".
With "OptionsVideoFullScreen" selected, click in the text box under "Select New Shortcut Key".
Here, you can enter the shortcut key for this option. For this tutorial, I will type "L".
Click on "Assign".
The key will appear in the "Shortcut Key" list to the right side of all options.
When you are finished, press "OK".
Now, I will load a game by going to "File" at the top of the screen.
In the "File" menu, click on "Open" to choose a game.
For this tutorial, I will load "Pokemon".
When the game is loading, press "L" on your keyboard.
A series of popup boxes will appear asking for display driver information. Select the correct options and press "OK".
Click the resolution for the full-screen mode.
After your settings have been entered, the game will switch to full-screen mode.
A pop-up window will ask if you want to keep the current video mode.
Click "OK" if you see the screen. If you do not see the screen, the timer will run out; and the video mode will be switched back to the previous one.
