Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today I will show how to create a home screen shortcut for a note created in Evernote on the LG L70.
To begin, I'll unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side button.
Then swiping up one time to get to our home screen.
We have an Evernote icon on our home screen; it's a green box with an elephant inside of it.
If we do not, we can access Evernote through our Apps menu.
The Apps icon is on the bottom right-hand side of our mobile.
It's a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it. For now, we will open Evernote directly from the home screen by tapping the icon one time. Then we will see a couple of different notes that we have entered.
If we would like to create a shortcut on our home screen for one of these notes, we can tap on the note to open it.
At the top right-hand side, we can see an icon of three dots that look almost like a bulleted list.
Tap this icon one time.
Now, we can press the button that says "Add to home screen."
It will create a shortcut, it says, "'Recipes' shortcut created."
If we would like to go back, we can press the back arrow at the top left-hand side as well as the bottom left-hand side just to the left of our Home button.
In order to close the program and go back to the home screen, we'll press the bottom center Home button one time.
We can see we do have a shortcut on our home screen for this particular note.
When we tap on it, it does go straight to the note.
To close this and once again go to the home screen, we'll press the bottom center Home button one time.
This does conclude today's tutorial on how to create a shortcut on the home screen for the note that was created in Evernote on the LG L70.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please leave them in the space below.
