Copy and Paste a Web Address or URL in Google Chrome on HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to copy and paste a web address or URL using the Google Chrome application on the HTC One M8.

Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen and multiple icons at the bottom. It is one of these icons that we now need to access to open up the applications folder.

    Tap the icon that looks like a grid of white dots, that is located at the bottom of the screen in the middle

    Find the Google Chrome application, and tap on it once to open the application
    .
    The Google Chrome icon looks like a big circle made up of different colors and has the word "Chrome" underneath it. Your Google Chrome application may be in a different position in this folder, therefore you will need to find it.

    First, we need to find a website by tapping on the white search bar at the top of the screen

    Type in the name of a web address/URL

    We can choose any website that we want.

    To copy this web address/URL, we will tap and hold the search bar at the top of the screen

    As we can see, it now has the name of the web address/URL and it says "Copy URL".

    Tap on "COPY URL" to copy the URL

    Now we're going to exit the application by pressing the home screen button, which is located at the bottom of the screen and looks like a small house

    This will take us to the home screen.

    Tap on the messages icon, which is located near the bottom and looks like a message box

    Tap on the white "+" symbol located in the blue section at the top

    This is going to allow us to create a new message.

    Now, we're going to paste the URL by tapping on the box near the bottom that says "Add text"

    Now, tap and hold on the "Add text" box to bring up the "Paste" option

    The option might disappear quickly.

    Tap on "Paste" to paste the URL into the message

    Now we have successfully pasted this web address/URL. We can do the same in every part of the HTC One M8 by tapping and holding or by finding the "Paste" icon. Copy it as we've learned in the Google Chrome application, and we can paste it in any other application if we want to send it as a message or an email to a friend.
