How do I connect my tablet to my computer via SideSync 3.0?

I have plugged in my Samsung Galaxy tab pro to my computer but I can't seem to make the two devices see each other. SideSync is open on both devices and they scan but don't bring up any other devices. I connected the tablet to the computer via USB as well and it still doesn't work.

Is there a way to utilize SideSync 3.0 when one cannot access their phone's screen?

I recently broke my Samsung Galaxy S5, and the screen is now completely black, even when I turn ON the phone. However, I know the phone still works because the bottom buttons still light up and it vibrates when I receive text messages. I need to access text messages, but obviously cannot. So I wonder if there is any way I can use this app without ever actually being able to access my phone?

The USB SideSync connection should connect automatically when the phone is connected to the computer and SideSync is open on the computer, assuming it is installed on the phone and you haven't disabled the service.

From the PC you can then turn on screensharing mode, if it isn't on already.

Black screen problem when connected via SideSync 3.0?

My laptop is Sony Vaio running Windows 7 Professional. My phone is Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2

When I connect my laptop to my phone via SideSync 3.0, I have a black screen on the monitor of my laptop.

The same problem does not occur when I connect a Galaxy S5 running Android Lollipop.

Could you please help?

SideSync 3.0 unknown error encountered?

I was running SideSync 3.0, SideSync_3.0.2.546_signed perfectly fine. SideSync asked me to update to SideSync_3.2.6.1130 which I did. Now every time I open the app I get an unknown error encountered and it closes the app. The phone was not even connected. Windows 7 x64.

Had a problem with SideSync (latest ver.) on my GS6 Edge?

Just installed it (first time). It installed fine on both Win7 Pro PC and Edge. However, when launching it, it kept saying "connection lost" then it would reconnect and again say "connection lost". Just keeps looping. I rebooted the phone - no difference. Killed and restarted the PC app - no difference. Finally, I googled it and someone said to turn on USB debugging. Well, I already had it on, so I decided to try and turn it off, and bingo! It is now working! Crazy?

SideSync "Connecting" eternally?

I've installed SideSync on my Windows 7 laptop, and on my Galaxy S7. When I try to connect them, my PC says "Connecting to <phone name> Cell...". And that's all it does. It never completes. Meanwhile, on my phone, the SideSync disappears and remains on my notification bar as if connected. Yes, USB Debugging is on.

SideSync will not connect automatically through WiFi?

Hi. This is what I do: I connect via WiFi to my PC, it works fine if I open SideSync on my phone. I enabled "connect automatically" in settings. But, If I leave my house where my WiFi network is with my Android to go to the store or something, and come back home, and connect my phone back to my WiFi, then it will not connect automatically to my PC. They are on the same network. But stops connecting automatically. Basically, if I turn off my phone's WiFi, then reconnect back to the same network, it will not automatically connect to my computer. All the other questions I saw involved USB connections, not WiFi connections. I have tried: Turned off power saving and Bluetooth, nothing works. I have to manually authorize in order to connect to my PC again if my phone has recently left the network. On my phone's SideSync, it shows my PC under managed devices, but will not remember it when I reconnect to the network. I think it was caused by: When I disconnect from my WiFi, then I reconnect to my WiFi, it won't remember my PC.
