You're watching VisiHow. In another tutorial, we demonstrated how to change the screen time-out on the Nexus 6P. In this tutorial, we're going to demonstrate how to change the automatic lock function on the Nexus 6P.
- 6You can change the time of the automatic lock to the period of time between "Immediately" and "30 minutes". Let's say that you would like to keep a relatively short time-out, let us say, "30 seconds", to save your battery life; but you don't want to be bothered with unlocking your phone after it has been on relatively recently. Then, you can set the value to 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or even 30 minutes.Tap on an option.
- 8The phone will turn back on without requiring the lock pattern because your pressing the button will have been within 5 minutes of the screen turning off.Press the power button once more.Advertisement
