Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng, Anonymous
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to clear the call log in WhatsApp on an HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone.
Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.
To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up.
Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.
We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen.
There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.
Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the WhatsApp application.
There is a WhatsApp icon, which is a green speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says "WhatsApp". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder.
We now need to go to the "CALLS" section, seen in the far left-hand side of the screen; press down on "CALLS".
Here, we will see the call log of all of the calls we have made or received. We may want to clear this log.
We can do that by first tapping the menu icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
There are three small white dots in a vertical line.
Tap on the first option, "Clear call log".
A confirmation will appear asking if we're sure. "Do you want to clear your entire call log?"
It will then say "Processing".
Now all of the calls have been cleared.
This concludes the tutorial on how to clear the call log in WhatsApp on an HTC One M8.
