Clear Cookies on Google Application on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Rushell, Eng, Anonymous
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to clear cookies on the Google application when using an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock the phone, which we can do by pressing the Lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
We can also unlock the phone by pressing the Home button at the bottom.
Swipe across the screen and enter a passcode, or use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Google icon, which is blue and white with the Google "g" on it.
Tap on that once to open the app.
It will take us to a screen where we can use the bar in the middle or the microphone below to search.
We've demonstrated how to do this in another tutorial on this website, so feel free to search for that.
For now, we are going to tap on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
It looks a bit like a flower.
This will bring up our "Settings".
Scroll down a bit and tap on "Privacy".
On the "Privacy" screen, tap on "Browsing" to open up that option.
Toward the bottom of this screen, we'll see "Cookies".
Below that, it says, "Clear third party cookies".
We'll simply press down on that.
At the warning message that appears, we can press "CANCEL" to go back and not clear the cookies if we changed our mind.
However, if we're sure we want to clear the cookies, we'll tap on "CLEAR THIRD PARTY COOKIES".
We can tell now that this has been done because the "Clear third party cookies" option is now disabled.
Then we can just press "DONE" in the top right-hand corner to return to the page where we began.
The next time we search, it will start from a new page. It will not have any of the previous cookies. Things such as logins and passwords we might have saved for different websites won't be saved anymore.
This is a VisiHow video.
