Questions and Answers

I want to know how can I check my SMS balance?

Tell me how can I check message balance in my laptop using USSD?

There are two methods available for you to check the balance.

  • The first one is when using a USB modem from your carrier that employs a SIM card. When you use it, you have to open the software associated with it that allows connecting, disconnecting, sending messages, etc. Go to the options where you can check the balance, request it by USSD or otherwise, and receive a pop-up message (or you can check the section with messages). This report will probably only include your current balance.
  • The other method is accomplished using your mobile phone. You can enter the site of your carrier from your browser, find a section with online services, enter your phone number, and you'll either receive a password by e-mail or phone or use the one that you already have. You will be able to generate or check the usage report from the site that may differentiate between SMS and other expenditures. You do not need the USSD code in this case.

How do I check my remaining balance on my phone?

They are asking for the mobile USSD number

You will need to know the carrier to obtain the specific USSD code to see the balance on the phone (as a total remaining sum or debt). Either contact the carrier via its website, point of sale, or phone number to find out the USSD code. For example, MTS accepts *100# and sends a push notification to the phone with the balance. Please note that some carriers may not support this feature.
